This year I'm interning at Holiday Heights Elementary. I have first grade with Mrs. Tonya Bishop. I'm going to help with anything I can, especially with spelling, reading and math. I was immediately comfortable when I first walked in. My teacher is really nice, and the kids are great. The first thing I did when I got there was went out in the hall and read with all of the kids. It helped them with reading faster, and it helped me get to know them all. I'm looking forward to getting to know my kids and knowing my teacher a lot better. I hope I can learn stuff from a first grade classroom that I didn't learn in seventh grade.
