Does Grinch have a place in the classroom?

I am for the practice of celebrating Christmas in the classroom. Even if you don't celebrate Christmas, if you do in the classroom you get the opportunity to learn about a new religion and the customs they practice. In classrooms that have Christmas celebrations, they never talk about the religion part, it's usually just about fun activities concerning reindeer, snowmen, and sometimes Santa. Since they do that, it should't offend anyone.
